Arrival

Welcome to the International Tokyo airport!  Your guide will meet you, help to buy a sim-card and exchange currency, will answer your questions, provide a Japanese socket adapter, if needed. Transfer to the hotel,

Day 2
Kawaguchiko

We'll start each day with a workout that helps to wake up, boosts energy level and reduces jet lag sympthoms. 

Breakfast.
A sightseeing tour around the Lake Kawaguchi with a magnificent Mt Fuji view, Wind cave, Ice cave, Oishii Park, Momiji tunnel – the famous maple tree tunnel overlooking Mt Fuji, a very beautiful kimono museum.

Day 3
Kyoto

Travel to Kyoto - the soul of Japan, the city of Emperors, the city of traditions. Its old streets are the very place to plunge into the genuine atmosphere of ancient Japan, see unique temples, and make many amazing discoveries. Check-in. Rest.

Day 4
Kyoto

We'll see a very unusual tample Kiyomizu-dera, the Temple of Pure Water and enjoy the panoramic view on the city from its terrace, built without a single nail. It looks as if is floatiing in the air.
The Philosopher's Path up to the Silver Pavillion, Ginkaku-ji. An example of unusual architecture, Nanzen-ji temple which hosts Kyoto's aqueduct. Gion Quartes, the heart of the old city, the tea houses and geisha district, Maruyama park, Yasaka Jinja, Kodai-ji.

Day 5
Kyoto

Nijo Castle with the stunning paintings on sliding doors and singing floors, the famous bamboo grooves of Arashiyama, Ryoan-ji with its prominent dry garden, the Golden pavillion Kinkaku-ji, one of the most gorgeous temples of Kyoto. This city is full of mysteries, so let's enjoy.

It is possible to dress up in Kimono, if you wish.

Day 6
Kyoto

Fushimi Inari shrine. Over 5000 torii gates have been donated to Inari, the deity of abundancy. We will be walking through passages of vermillion torii gates and fox statues will welcome us at every turn. We'll see the amazing  dry gardens at Tofuku-ji Temple and 1001 golden statue of Boddhisattva Kannon in the longest wooden building in Japan.

Day 7
Going to Koyasan

Today we are travelling to Koyasan. A sacred and a most reverred place in Japan. The plateau that became the cradle of Buddhism in the VII century.

Astonishing. Overwhelming.

You'll spend a night in an authentic buddhist monastery. It is incredible.

Day 8
Koyasan
Kurashiki

A buddhist ceremony at dawn. Breakfast, cooked by monks, here you'll try vegetarian buddhist food.

Time to explore: Okunoin, where the Great Monk's spirit is floating in eternal meditation, Mausoleum. Kongobu-ji, the head temple. In the afternoon we'll leave for Kurashiki.

Kurashiki
Miyajima

Kurashiki is a very picturesque town with a rich history. It is especially beautiful at early mornings, when the rising sun plays at the river, embraced by old willow trees. Bridges and white houses make this place unique. We'll enjoy the views and in the afternoon go to Miyajima, a sacred island. For a long time ordinary people were prohibited to come here. It is one of the most popular sites in Japan with great scenic views. We will see the O-Torii Gate, (Great Torii Gate) standing in the water. The legend runs that the one who walks under the O-Torii will be blessed with happiness and good luck. And we will do this.

Day10
Miyajima

Today let's go hiking and enjoy breathtaking views! We'll see the eternal flame on Mt Misen, a very interesting temple complex of Daisho-in and make many discoveries, if the island deities are benevolent. We'll see deer, lovely and graceful. In the evening let's enjoy the dinner. The freshest seafood. Oysters are the specialty of the region. Raw. Grilled. Tempura. In a soup and cooked in many other various ways. So delicious! 

Day 11
Hiroshima, Kobe

The morning workout, check-out and let's go to Kobe.
On the way we can drop in Hiroshima to see a very beautiful garden - Sukkei-en.

Day 12
Himeji
Arima-onsen

A side trip to Himeji, where you will see a most amazing White Heron Castle. Snow-white, so incredibly beautiful! In the evening we'll go to a hot spring town, known since VII century! Sometimes it is called "The Inner Chambers of Western Japan". The waters will wash a dozen of years off your face.
